5th Glasgow Boys’ Brigade
Anchor Boys is for boys in Primary 1-3. They meet in the Large Hall on Tuesdays from 6.00–7.15pm. **PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN START TIME FOR SESSION 2017-18** The boys take part in games, crafts, drill, music, drama and other activities leading to awards made as part of The Anchor Boy achievement programme. They learn how to work as a team and build their own self confidence.
The Junior Section for boys in primary stages 4-6. They meet in the Large Hall on Tuesdays from 7.15-8.30pm. The boys are encouraged to gain achievements to earn Target Badges. They learn friendship, hobbies and skills along with team building and responsibility.
The Company Section for boys aged 11 to 18 years. They meet in the Large Hall on Fridays from 7.30-10pm. The boys take part in badge work, drill and PT. Summer weekend camp is popular as are trips and excursions including mountain biking, canoeing, archery and orienteering. The boys meet for fun and fellowship.
Anchor Boys and BB meet during school term only.
