Messy Church has come to St. John's-Renfield. But what is it? Messy Church is happening across the world and is a way for families to get involved interactively in church in a fun and creative way. It's values are Christ-centred, brought to life through creativity, hospitality and celebration. Traditionally, Messy Church is held at an alternative time to a Sunday service so that those who may not be able to attend on a Sunday morning can get involved. Expect a warm welcome on arrival, an all-age interactive chat to introduce the Bible message, some awesome music, family crafts and messy play, and perhaps the most important part, all coming together in fellowship to share a meal.
Messy Church is back on Saturday 13th April from 4.15 - 6.30 p.m. The theme is Easter, The Greatest Miracle of All. Come and join us for an Easter Egg Hunt, crafts, stories, prayers, some science and other fun treats, finishing off with a family meal. If you'd like to come along, contact Sarah at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the St. John's-Renfield Messy Church Facebook page (sjrmessychurch.) Messy Church
We hope you will join us, whether you are part of the St. John's-Renfield family or a welcome visitor!
